Account Settings

Managing your profile

Keep your information up to date so tickets, receipts, and host messages reach you.

  1. Open the user menu in the top right and choose My Profile.
  2. Update your name, email, phone, and profile picture.
  3. Changing your email triggers a re-verification email — confirm it to keep checkout enabled.

Hosts also see additional fields here: organization name, payout information, and contact details that buyers see on event pages.

Passwords & security

We take account security seriously — passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions expire on inactivity, and every sign-in attempt is rate-limited.

  • Change password: From your profile open the Security tab. You'll need your current password plus the new one.
  • Forgot password: On the login page click Forgot Password — we'll email a one-time reset link valid for one hour.
  • Session timeout: By default sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity (the platform admin can adjust this). You'll get a warning before being signed out and can extend with one click.
  • Failed sign-ins: Repeated failures temporarily lock the account. Reset your password if you're locked out.

Order & payment history

All your tickets and receipts live in your account:

  • My Tickets — every valid ticket with its scannable QR. Tickets from past events stay visible for reference.
  • My Payments / My Orders — receipt history, refunds, and invoice balances. Partially-paid invoices show the outstanding balance plus a Pay Balance button.
  • Re-download a PDF: open any order and click the receipt icon — the same PDF that landed in your email.

Apple Wallet & Google Wallet passes

For mobile-friendly entry, save your tickets to your phone's wallet:

  1. Open the ticket from My Tickets.
  2. Tap Add to Apple Wallet (iOS) or Add to Google Wallet (Android).
  3. The pass installs instantly and updates automatically if the host changes the time or venue.

Each ticket in a multi-ticket order gets its own wallet pass so you can hand one off to a guest without sharing your account.

Email subscriptions & preferences

Control which ShowRockers emails you receive from the Subscriptions page in your profile:

  • Order & ticket emails — confirmations, receipts, ticket PDFs, refund notices. Always on (transactional).
  • Event reminders — sent ahead of events you're attending. Optional.
  • Interest categories — let us notify you when new events match the genres / artists / venues you follow.

Every promotional email also has an unsubscribe link in the footer — no need to log in to opt out.

Cookie preferences

ShowRockers uses first-party cookies only: essentials for login and checkout, plus anonymous analytics for understanding which features are useful. No third-party trackers or ad networks. To change your earlier choice, clear the cookieConsent entry in your browser's site data — the banner will reappear on next visit.

For Event Hosts: team accounts

Hosts can invite Host Staff sub-accounts from User Menu → Team. Staff get their own credentials and can scan tickets, manage holds, and view sales — without access to financial settings or the ability to delete events. See the Event Host Guide for the full team workflow.
